ISLAMABAD - Pakistan on Friday rejected the assertion made by Indian government that entire state of Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India. Foreign Office has stated that the Government of Pakistan rejects the assertion made in the afore-mentioned statement that the entire State of Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India. The spokesman was responding to a question pertaining to Indian Ministry of External Affairs’ statement of January 04, 2012 regarding depicting of map of India on the website of US State Department. The spokesman said the correct position, as established by the United Nations in accordance with its relevant resolutions, is that the State of Jammu and Kashmir is a disputed territory, the final status of which is yet to be determined.
