Coalition govt committed to resolving issues: Malik

QUETTA- Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch said that the coalition government would resolve all issues through mutual consultation and understanding.
He expressed these views while talking to a PML-N delegation led by its provincial general secretary Naseebullah Bazai, here on Monday.
The CM said that main goal of accepting the chief minister-ship was to improve situation of the downtrodden people of the province. “Serving the people is our topmost priority and if we could not deliver, it would not only be our failure of but also the failure of middleclass segment of the society,” he added. He said that through mutual understanding a joint strategy would be adopted for addressing political and social issues.
He said that rehabilitation of the internally displaced persons hailing from different areas of the province has been started.
To a query regarding reviving beauty of Quetta city, he said that a 10-point programme would be launched to ensure provision of basic facilities to the people. “Work on Sariab Flyover has been expedited which would be completed by June,” he told the delegation, adding that other development projects would soon be executed.
Malik was of the view that joint efforts of the coalition parties could help resolve all issues, added that funds were being released for the development projects. However, he said that the development funds would be released after a proper scrutiny in this connection.
