LAHORE - Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has asked his party legislators to reach out to the masses to know and resolve their problems.

“Selfless service to the masses is the mission of the PML-N and elected representatives should spare no effort in resolving public problems”, the chief minister told the party legislators from various districts who called on him.

“Punjab government is implementing revolutionary agenda of public welfare. Speedy completion of projects with transparency and high quality is the hallmark of Punjab government.

“Protecting the national interests is the top priority of the PML-N government. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, we are determined to face the challenges being confronted by the country,” he added.

The members who met the CM included Sardar Ashiq Hussain Gopang, Mansha Ullah Butt, Begum Rashida Yaqoob and former PMA Haji Muhammad Yaqoob Sheikh.

Separately, the CM met with Adviser to Prime Minister on Political Affairs Jam Mashooq Ali and discussed the political situation.

Shahbaz Sharif said the decisions taken by political parties on important national issues with consensus were yielding positive results. The PML-N has always given preference to national interests, he added.
