Pakistan Single Country Exhibition in Sri Lanka

KARACHI (PR): Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe announced the ‘Pakistan Single Country Exhibition 2016’ the other day.

The high-level exhibition will be held in Sri Lanka from 15th to 17th January 2016 at the BMICH and feature representation from Pakistani commercial establishments in 15 sectors.

The event, organised by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) in Sri Lanka is expected to feature over 110 top organisations representing some of the Pakistan’s leading companies and brands from a diverse range of industries.

Zong welcomes customers with 'Poora Balance'

Telenor achieves ISO 9001: 2015 QMS certification

KARACHI (PR): Telenor Pakistan has become the first and only telecom operator in the country to attain the ISO 9001: 2015 QMS Certification. The ISO 9001: 2015 is a standard launched by International Organization for Standards (ISO) in September 2015 which helps businesses and organizations to be more efficient and improve customer satisfaction. The accreditation will help Telenor become more efficient, responsive and systematic in dispensing superior services and enhance customer satisfaction at par with contemporary global standards.

The ISO 9001: 2015 QMS certification was issued to the Software Engineering department at Telenor Pakistan after a rigorous audit of its operational capacity by an external audit body called Resource Inspections Canada Inc. The audit was conducted in December 2015, and reaffirms Telenor’s conformity with seven quality management principles namely customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, process approach, improvement, evidence-based decision making, and relationship building.

Unilever Talent Hunt

LAHORE (PR): Unilever has announced finalists for the Unilever Talent Hunt (UTH) 2015-16, one of Pakistan’s sought after talent hunt programs. Six teams representing GIKI, NUST, LUMS and IoBM have moved through to the final round of the competition and will compete for the chance to represent Pakistan at the global finale in London.

The finalists will be working to solve business cases provided by brands including Lifebuoy, Domex, Sunsilk, Surf Excel and Knorr. The teams will get another two weeks to finalize their proposed solutions for the finale with further mentoring provided by Unilever brand teams. In addition to representing Pakistan at the global finale, winners of the Pakistan leg will also get direct access to the Unilever Future Leaders Program (UFLP) Assessment Center, the first step towards employment as a Management Trainee at Unilever in Pakistan.

In 2015, UTH reached out to 5,500 students across leading universities, with 900 students registering for the contest. The Unilever Talent Hunt has been built around Unilever’s sustainability agenda -- the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan (USLP) -- which aims to create awareness on social needs. It encourages students to learn about, and solve, real-life problems, as well as contribute towards making sustainable living commonplace.

Domino's opens new outlet

Domino's has opened the new outlet with the dine-in experience at KH-e Ittehad, Phase 2 DHA. Many celebrities and socialites attended the event. Domino's new outlet was inaugurated by Hina Dillpazeer and Ayesha Omer. While talking to the media, Gulam Mustafa (Operation Head) said, “It is good news for pizza lovers that Domino’s has introduced the dining concept after a long time in Pakistan.”
