ATTOCK - Rescue 1122 Attock responded to 18,266 emergencies last year including 2,966 road traffic accidents.
While chairing a meeting in his office, District Emergency Officer Attock Engineer Kamran Rashid said that last year his department received 518,900 calls out of which 18,266 were emergencies, 12,127 medical emergencies, 2,968 road traffic accidents, 2,440 miscellaneous incidents, 416 fire incidents, 243 were related to quarrels while 64 were drown cases.
He said that 16,158 people were shifted to hospitals of the district and 4,174 patients were shifted to Rawalpindi under patient transfer service while 2,583 victims were provided on-the-spot first aid. Rashid also praised his team, saying personnel of Rescue 1122 are well-trained, dedicated and professional and always ready to serve humanity.
