Supply of contaminated water in sector G-8/4 is causing many diseases amongst the residents and they have demanded of the authority concerned to stop supply of contaminated water. On Wednesday, the residents of G-8/4 CDA block 3 said that polluted and zinc mixed water is being supplied in the area, which is causing diseases amongst the children. Ali residents of the area complaint that the samples of the water tested from laboratory have been dispatched to CDA but to no avail. He said that it has been proved that water is contaminated and hazardous for health but CDA, Water control cell is playing role of silence spectator. The residents have demanded of the high authorities to stop supply of contaminated water on priority base and ensure supply of potable water to the area.
