Our Staff Reporter KARACHI President of Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) Muhammad Saeed Shafiq has informed the Business and Industrial Community and Law Enforcing Agencies that businessmen having arms licences need no permission to carry weapons for their safety. He took exception to the statement of IG Sindh Wajid Ali Durrani in which the provincial police chief has reportedly said to get permission to carry arms was not acceptable. The Chamber Chief said that the IG Sindh should ask the dacoits and criminal elements to follow Section 144 and take permission to carry weapons with liberty who are involved in illegal activities posing potential threat to the citizens and the businessmen. He said that the businessmen and their security guards will carry the weapons for safety and any law enforcing agency having apprehension may contact KCCI.
