Four more bodies of missing persons recovered

QUETTA - Four more mutilated bodies of the Baloch missing persons including a former leader of Baloch Students Organisation (BSO-Azad) were recovered from isolated locations of Kech, Khuzdar and Gwadar districts of Balochistan on Wednesday. According sources, Balochistan Levies personnel on a tip off recovered the body of Hanif Baloch from Chakli area of Tehsil Pasni, situated on Coastal Highway in Gwadar district. The sources said the victim was hit with bullets in head and chest while severe marks of torture could be seen on his body that suggested that he was severely tortured before being killed. Hanif Baloch was a former President of BSO-Azad, Pasni Zone. Accusing intelligence agencies for the brutal murder, the family sources said Hanif was picked up by intelligence agencies from Hub Industrial town of Balochistan some two ago. Similarly, two bullet-riddled bodies were found from deserted area in Juzak in Kech District. The bodies were moved to the district headquarters hospital Turbat where they were identified as Azam Mehrab, resident of Tump, and Raheem resident of Gogord area of Mand. However, when contacted officials said they did not have information when the victims went missing. Separately, one body was recovered from Khanak area of Khuzdar district, some 340 kilometer away on southeast of the provincial capital. Police after getting information rushed to spot and shifted the body to hospital for autopsy where a chit was found from the pocket of body in which he was identified as Qadir Ahmed, resident of Awaran. Hospital sources said the body was shot dead and was also tortured. After completing legal formalities, the police handed over the body to heirs. Meanwhile, a complete shutter down strike was observed in Gwadar, Turbat, Pasni, Ormara and Jiwani to protest against the brutal murder of Baloch political workers allegedly at the hand of intelligence agencies. The Baloch National Front (BNF) has announced three days of shutter down strike in Pasni to register its protest against the killings by the government functionaries. Hospital sources said the body was shot dead and was also tortured. After completing legal formalities, the police handed over the body to heirs.
