KHANEWAL - DPO Muhammad Waqar Abbasi has said that if the police officer and officials perform their duty honestly and devotedly to provide safety and justice to the common man, this will not only be his professional duty but also will get the blessing of Almighty Allah. He was talking to the media persons here in his office. Waqar Abbasi said that all the people of the society rightly expect services of international standard from the Police Department. He said that the Police Department always try to provide good services to the people within limited sources. He also added that District Police have introduces neat and clean system at DPO office, where anyone can approach directly the DPO. The DPO also urged the civil society and media to come forward and extend their cooperation to the police to work against the criminals and corrupt mafia, this will be only possible with the coordination of civil society, he added. Seminar on agriculture sector on 9th: The Progressive farmers organization Pakistan Farms forum arranged a seminar regarding problems and difficulties faced by the agriculturists and agriculture sector to boost up agriculture production and gain international standards. The seminar is being held at the model farm situated in Mouza Kot Barkat Ali Khan, Tehsil Mian Channu. The PML-N senior leader and former chairman of Zila council Khanewal, Nawab Farhat Ullah khan will chair the seminar on July 9, (Saturday).
