KARACHI - Karachi people have now been caught by unannounced electricity loadshedding, rubbing salt into target killing-hit people of the commercial hub of the country. Though powerless people took to the streets, powerful authorities were dragging feet over the matter. A scores of people staged protest at North Karachi Saleem Center against 10 to 12 hours unannounced power loadshedding. The protestors burnt tyres on the road and platen stones on vehicles. As a result, the traffic flow was badly affected in surrounding of the area said.
Similarly, another protest was witnessed at Surjani Town KDA Chowak in which protestors said that they were facing power suspension from last four days due to failure of transformer while the KESC officials were not appearing their complains.
