MULTAN-Abdul Rauf Khan Sasoli, senior Baloch leader and former secretary general of Jamhoori Watan Party, has warned that Punjab will also be in flames if the fire in Khyber PakhtunKhwa, Balochistan and Karachi is not extinguished.Talking to The Nation here on Saturday, he asked Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to look beyond GT Road and offer jobs to the Baloch youth according to their quota. He added that merely handing Gawadar port over to China could not make any difference until it was connected to Motorway via Kashmore and Khuzdar. He said that civil war was underway in Balochistan but this issue could be resolved provided all political parties and forces acknowledged the reality. He lamented that on one hand Balochistan was in flames while on the other hand the Punjab chief minister was playing the game of ministries in Islamabad. He said that a recent seminar organised by Jamat-ud-Dawa in Multan was an eye opener for all political parties. He lashed out at the government and said that if the rulers did not learn a lesson from their predecessors, they would also face the same fate. He regretted that the government started squeezing masses through budget and mini-budgets.
