ISLAMABAD- Islamabad Police have arrested 12 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered stolen bike, weapons and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Monday.
According to details,Bhara Kau police arrested Waqas and recovered stolen bike from him while Industrial area police nabbed two thieves Anees and Waqas besides recovering stolen items from them. Sabzi Mandi police nabbed Arslan and recovered stolen mobile phones from him while a dacoit was apprehended besides recovery of 30 bore pistol from him.
Bani Gala police nabbed Safeer for having one 12 bore gun while Sihala police recovered 12 bore gun from an accused Ghulam Safdar. Naseer was arrested by Shehzad town police for decanting gas in cylinders illegally.
Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
Islamabad police arrested four proclaimed offenders during campaign to arrest criminals who are being at large despite involvement in crime cases of heinous nature.
During general hold up in last 24 hours, 54 motorbikes and five vehicles were impounded which were being driven without authentic documents. Four suspects were nabbed during search operation while 12 professional alm-seekers were nabbed.
SSP Islamabad Muhammad Ali Nekokara has appreciated this overall performance and further directed for effective policing and vigilance in the city.
