RAWALPINDI - A nine-member delegation of Afghan officials arrived at Benazir Bhutto Islamabad International Airport, informed sources here on Monday.
According to sources, the nine-member delegation, headed by Hikmat Yar Karzai, arrived through a special aircraft at 7:00pm. Later, the delegation was escorted to the federal capital amid foolproof security. Sources said that the nine-member delegation would hold meetings with high-ups of Foreign Office to defuse tension that fuelled between Pakistan and Afghanistan after detention of an official of Pakistan Consulate General at Kandahar by Afghan authorities.
