Anti-Terrorist Court No-2 Judge Bushra Zaman turned down the plea by former Daska City Police SHO to drop the terrorism section in lawyers killing case against him.
Continuing hearing of the case in central jail Gujranwala on Monday, the ATC judge also ordered the police to produce witnesses in the court to testify them July 8. The accused former SHO Shahzad Warriach killed two lawyers including the Daska Tehsil Bar Association president during a protest in front of TMA building in Daska.
9 HURT IN SCRAP BOMB BLAST
Nine workers injured in scrap bomb blast here on Monday. The workers were busy melting scrap in a furnace at Maafi Wala when a bomb exploded. Resultantly nine workers received burns and were rushed to DHQ Hospital from where they were referred to Lahore due to their critical condition.
