ISLAMABAD: All government organisations, semi-government organisations, banks and educational institutions will be getting five holidays for Eid from the 17th till the 22nd of this month.

Eid ul Fitr is celebrated at the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan, with ‘Chaand Raat’ marking the beginning of these festivities.

 Law enforcement personnel are usually required to remain on high alert during these days owing to the security concerns that have been present in the country for quite some time now.
