LODHRAN:The Rescue 1122 claimed to have received 6,000 phones calls during the outgoing month, of which 904 calls were related to emergencies.

The emergency service, however, maintained its average response time of less than seven minutes and quality standards while attending to these calls.

District Emergency Officer Dr Syed Majid Ahmed said while presenting monthly report of Rescue 1122 here the other day.

The DO Emergency said that Rescue 1122 received calls 230 regarding traffic accidents, 22 medical emergencies, two calls of fire-fighting incidents, 23 crime calls, one call pertaining to drowning incident during the month of June.–Staff Reporter

He said that rescuers would maintain the same standards in the district to gain trust of the public.
