Sub inspector, bank manager killed in firing incidents

Karachi: Four persons, including a sub-inspector of Sindh Police and a bank manager, have been killed in separate incidents of firing.
As per SSP Central, some unknown gun men opened fire at the car of sub inspector Imran near Abdullah College in North Nazimabad, killing him on the spot. Nazir was apparently killed for resisting a street-crime of an attempted car-snatching, SHO Sir Syed town has been suspended in the wake of this incident.
In a separate incident, Sheikh Nazir, the bank manager of National Bank of Pakistan’s (NBP) local branch was shot dead near UP Mor area of North Karachi. A man identified as Bakht Mansha was killed near Ayesha Manzil and an anonymous dead body, was recovered from Sohrab Goth area.
The Rangers paramilitary force have rounded up several suspicious people besides arresting nine suspects, in separate raids conducted in Muslim Colony, Kausar Colony and Godhra neighborhood.
