Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday said the opposition has retored to conspiring against the ruling government, using accountability and rigging as an excuse to halt development.

“All they do is hatch conspiracies. Its all talk and no action,” he said while addressing the inaugural ceremony of a 760-megawatt power plant at Haveli Bahadur Shah near Jhang.

“The entire nation is tired of your excuses to derail the government, to halt the progress of Pakistan. All this accountability and rigging are mere excuses,” he added.

The prime minister said that the incumbent government is delivering on its promises it made when the PML-N came to power in 2013. “We say and we back it through our development projects,” he added.

“If you really want to prove something then prove it by winning the mandate of the general public in the upcoming elections.”
