The district bar president said that the Karak and Kohat districts were rich in oil and gas resources and the OGDCL was playing a very pivotal role in the development of the areas but the kidnapping of the its officials was a very profile incident and it should be taken serious. He underlined the need that such incidents should not be occurred in future and added for stopping such incidents in future the investigations of the Rahmatullah kidnapping case should be put on right direction. He categorically stated that expectations of transparent investigations from the SSP Attequllah Wazeer was not possible as his involvement with the kidnappers show his links with the militants. He said that the culprits involved in the kidnapping of the OGDCL how might be influential should be brought to the justice without any delay and he also showed deep concerns over the involvement of some local people in the kidnapping of the company official. The meeting demanded that all those involved in the kidnapping of Rahmatullah should be disclosed by the police and those local people who were found guilty their houses should be set on fire as they were involved in inhuman activities. Former district Councillor Shafeer Khattak on the occasion said that 50 percent investigations had been completed by the statements of the kidnapped official and the remaining 50 percent investigations should be completed by the police in right direction as some of names of the kidnapers had been revealed by the arrested kidnapper Raham Daraz. He criticised the investigation officer Saifullah for putting the investigation in wrong direction to provide security to the real culprits. He cautioned if the real culprits were not brought to justice then it would become a routine job and nobody would be secured in the district.
