PML-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif has said Federal Budget for the fiscal 2010-11 will shift more financial burden to the poor segments of society and will add to their economic woes. He said this while presiding over a meeting of PML-N senior leadership held at Raiwind Monday to deliberate over federal budget for the financial year 2010-11 presented in the National Assembly. Mian Nawaz Sharif held government had taken no positive and solid step for revival of economy. The national economy could be improved through deliverance from debt and implementation of self-reliance program. "We can generate new opportunities for employment and alleviate poverty through inexpensive energy resources", he added. The strategy to meet 700 billion deficit through loans would prove more disastrous for national economy, he added. He directed chief minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Shahbaz to make Punjab budget a people friendly in real sense. Man Nawaz Sharif also directed Mian Shahbaz Sharif to ensure speedy investigation into the recent terror incidents besides bringing the culprits to justice. The meeting was attended by leader of the opposition in National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, senator Ishaq Dar, former finance minister Sartaj Aziz, Khawaja Asif, MNA and others.
