ISLALAMABAD - Former senator and interior minister, Dr Shahzad Waseem said that the Government had failed to provide any economic relief to the masses, as unprecedented price hike, unemployment and massive power outages had made the life of common man miserable. He said this while addressing the newly elected office bearers of Aabpara Market Traders Union. He demanded that the Government should reduce spending on protocol of federal ministers and other high profile personalities. He urged the political leaders of Government as well as of the opposition to bring their assets back to the country in order to improve economy of the country. On the occasion, newly elected president of the union, Ajmal Baloch, President of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ICCI), Zahid Maqbool, Chairman of Founder Group, Munawar Moghul, Zafar Bakhtawari and traders leader Suhail Malik also addressed the gathering. Zahid Maqbool, President ICCI, in his address, said that he would make all out efforts to play positive role in countrys economy and safeguard interest of business community. Zafar Bakhtawari urged the traders community to play their role in development of Islamabad.
