LAHORE - Punjab Teachers Union on Sunday has demanded of the Punjab government to make reasonable increase in their salaries in the upcoming budget as has been done in the federal budget. The union in a statement appealed the Chief Minister Punjab to allocate more funds in budget for education. Leader of the union including Taj Haidar, Azahr Abbas, Rashid Ahmad Bhatti, Allah Rakha Gujar and others also welcomed 50 per cent increase in salaries, pension and allowances in the federal budget.
