New Pak govt should prioritise Kashmir issue: APHC

SRINAGAR  - Moderate Hurriyat Conference on Thursday asked the new government in Pakistan to take up the Kashmir issue with India on priority basis to find a just and durable solution. "The new Pakistani government should raise the Kashmir issue on priority basis and ensure participation of the Kashmiri leadership in any talks with India for a just and durable solution to the problem," a spokesman of the Hurriyat said after a meeting of its executive council here.
The meeting, which was chaired by Hurriyat Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, also congratulated Nawaz Sharif for becoming the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
