The Khushab District is organizing Annual Scout Camp from June 22 to 29 at Murree, District Scout Secretary Obid Hussain Bhatti told the media men here the other day.
AO Education Mali Haji Muhammad Nawaz Jasra was also present on the occasion.
He said that 200 scouts from different elementary and secondary schools of the district would participate in the camp. He said that the objective of the camp was to acquaint the participants with tools and techniques of tenting, first aid, cooking and other positive activities.
Exam centre inspected
The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has started annual autumm 2012 examinations for Matric, FA and BA here.
In this connection, AIOU Resident Inspector Dr Malik Munir Hussain Kallu inspected AIOU examination centre which was established at Govt Secondary School.
He appreciated the best performance and discipline of Superintendent Malik Shauqat Ali and Deputy Superintendent Allah Ditta Javed. He also lauded the duties of invigilators staff of the examination centre.
