The leader of the opposition speaking over the appointment of Justice (Retd) Sarmad Jalal Osmany as the head of the commission, said that he personally respected the former judge but he (Justice Osmany) should not have accepted this offer as his wife had joined the PML-N and speculations of him joining the party after completing his two years tenure were also rife in the air.

If it is true what Mr. Khurshid Shah says then he has a valid point and I tend to agree with him. Justice (Retd) Osmany should himself in the best traditions of our honourable judiciary decline such a potentially contentious appointment.
