The government is doing efforts to transform Pakistan's geo-politics to geo-economy policy, stated the Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Monday.
He stated that at foreign ministry, a Regional Economy Policy Division is being established in order to ensure influx of investment in the country.
He further revealed that digital technology is being used as an innovation in diplomacy which is aimed at bringing positive results in terms of productivity.
The FM Qureshi talked about Afghan peace process by stating that an active role is being played by Pakistan as a peace facilitator in Afghanistan. He revealed that Pakistan's stance is being acknowledged which suggests that the conflict can not be resolved by military intervention. Approximately 47 per cent withdrawal of foreign troops has been completed, revealed the FM.
While talking about Palestine, the Foreign Minister stated that Israeli aggression can be halted if Muslim countries show unity. He concluded by saying that Pakistan will be continuing efforts to bring about peace in Palestine.
