LAHORE-As political temperature in Punjab is rising day by day, three members of PML-Q forward bloc on Friday announced to go back to their mother party, ending their eight-month long association with PML-N. Rai Ejaz Ahmad Kharral from Jaranwala, Bilal Akhtar Warriach from Gojra and Muhammad Yaqoob Sheikh from Jhang addressed a news conference at Lahore Press Club (LPC) in the presence of PPP leader Zekria Butt, and expressed confidence in the leadership of Chaudhry's of Gujrat. The PPP's parliamentary leader, Raja Riaz did not attend the conference, though he remained present in LPC at that time. Rai Ejaz told reporters that underdevelopment in his constituency had earlier compelled him to join forward bloc because he wanted to carry out a lot of development work in the area in league with the PML-N. "But now I have realised that PML-N leadership has adopted a policy of confrontation and the country could not afford all this at the moment", he maintained, and added that this was the reason that he has decided to bade farewell to the forward bloc and consequently to the PML-N. He hoped that PML-Q and PPP would form next Govt in Punjab in the best interest of people. Sheikh Yaqoob, who called on Punjab Governor a few days back, rejected reports that he was made to leave forward bloc because he had got various business contracts from Government worth billions of rupees. "I am in construction business for the last over many years and no body could pinpoint corruption of a penny against me", he said, while adding that he has left the forward bloc because of Sharif brothers' confrontational politics. Yaqoob said many more members of forward bloc would soon announce their dissociation from the group.
