SIALKOT - The Sialkot business community has strongly rejected the recent increase in POL prices by the government, saying that this increase will drive the final nail in the coffin of country’s dying economy.

In their separate statements, Sialkot’s all the main trade bodies including Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PRGMEA), Pakistan Gloves Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PGMEA), Pakistan Sports Goods Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PSGMEA), Srgical Instruments Manufacturers Association (SIMA) of Pakistan and Markazi Anjuman Tajran have strongly condemned the increase in petroleum prices. They termed this increase a cut-throat step for Sialkot industries.

They expressed urged the federal government to withdraw this massive decision to boom the country’s industrial sector and boost the exports.
