HAVELI LAKHA - A man shot dead his sister ‘apparently’ for honour here in the suburban Pathan Kot village the other day.
Reportedly Nusrat Bibi, a resident of Pathan Kot started living with a man against the will of her family and left the home some three months ago. Her brothers, however, were annoyed at her unilateral decision and had born a grudge against her. Meanwhile, when she returned home, her brother Muhammad Shafique shot at and killed her. The police have registered a case.
