Islamabad -  Ramana police have arrested two Afghan nationals from sector G-10/3 for their alleged involvement in vehicles snatching at gun point and recovered two pistols and fake number plates from their possession, a police spokesman said on Friday. According to details, two unknown persons snatched a car (ICT, CX-976) from Kashif Hussain in sector G-10/3 at gun point.  After getting information, the police cordoned off the area and started special checking at exit points of the capital.

Upon chase, the car snatchers started firing on police team near Jhangi Syedaan but the police team managed to stop them and arrest the culprits. They were later identified as Syed Jan s/o Gula Khan and Kareem s/o Sabir, both citizens of Afghanistan. The police team recovered two pistols, ammunition and fake number plates from them. Further investigation is under way.

IGP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan has appreciated this prompt action of Ramana police team and announced cash prizes as well as commendation certificates for all its members.

Meanwhile, Koral police have booked a lady doctor for luring girls into sex business, using the premises of Maryam Hospital at Lehtrar Road. According to police, the accused lady doctor also possesses fake CNIC and passport. The FIR has been registered under sections 337, 506, 419, 420 on the complaint of a lady victim.
