QUETTA - While taking swipe at rulers, Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) chief Akhtar Mengal has said that the federal government was more concerned about wheeling and dealing rather than solving Balochistan issues.
Speaking at a Press conference alongwith Balochistan Assembly Speaker Jan Muhammad Jamali here on Friday, he said that nobody was paying attention to the situation in Balochistan, which was deteriorating with each passing day.
Mengal said that the situation in Balochistan could only improve if control of provincial subjects and resources were devolved to the province.
He said that the state of affairs has become more complicated in Naseerabad and Kalat, where people were facing severe problems, but government functionaries and Ministers were avoiding visiting these areas.
The Baloch leader said that the newly elected Senators including the one from his party would only serve Balochistan in the Senate by highlighting the crippling issues facing the people.
Meanwhile, Jamali said that he alongwith Nawab Magsi and Saeed Hashmi was planning to establish a new Muslim League in Balochistan to focus on issues being faced by the Baloch people.
