KHARAN: Deputy Commissioner of police Wali Mohammad Barech’s house was attacked with hand grenade by some unidentified miscreants today, however, no loss of life was reported.

According to police sources, some unknown miscreants hurled a hand grenade at the house of Deputy Commissioner that exploded near back door of the residence.

Police personnel arrived at the scene and cordoned off the entire area. Law enforcement agencies have launched an investigation into the matter by gathering the evidence and declared the area clear after search operation. They said raids are underway to nab the culprits.
