Ex- prime minister Nawaz Sharif recently said that his party will show its support to any action against those who are involved in horse trading in the recent Senate elections.

He negated the stance that his party has been involved in horse trading and regarded such actions as against the democratic rules. Nawaz Sharif said that after appearing before the accountability court and showed his full support against any action.

Earlier in the court, the hearing was conducted by Judge Mr. Bashir Ahmed. The hearing was against the reference of Azizia Steel Mills and other main investments. Sharif was accompanied by son-in- law, Capt Safdar (retired) and Pervaiz Rasheed.

The judge of accountability court has asked for more time for completion of trail against the Sharif family from the Apex court. The trail is supposed to end by 13 March, 2018.
