LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has constituted a committee headed by former MNA Hanif Abbasi to monitor working of the Islamabad Metro Bus project.
Addressing a high level committee held to review the Project on Tuesday, the chief minister said that the Metro Bus project under consideration would be completed in 10 months at every cost through working day and night. He said side by side keeping in view completion of the project strictly within time, quality and transparency about the construction and use of money would be closely checked. He said no compromise would be made on the completion period of the project in time and its quality.
The chief minister also directed the authorities concerned to construct a separate road to provide a shuttle service to the people for availing the Metro Bus Service.
