FAISALABAD
On the special directives of Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Khurshid Alam, Superintending Engineer (SE) Second Circle Eng Ali Raza has suspended five meter readers and issued show cause notice to a meter reader (MR) here the other day.
According to detail, the Second Circle special checking team conducted raids in different areas of the Factory Area and Samanabad and found the negligence of the meter readers and on the different reasons three meter readers namely Muhammad Khalid, Muhammad Iftikhar and Shahzad Habib of Factory Area sub division suspended while show cause notice has been issued to Meter Inspector.
Similarly, two meter readers Islamab Talib and Muhammad Imran of Samanabad Sub Division also suspended on charges of negligence.
On the occasion, SE Second Circle Ali Raza said that nobody would be spared found involved in negligence. He said that employee should perform their duties honestly and best service of the consumer should be their top priority.
