LAHORE  - A famous lion of the Lahore Zoo Jumbo died after prolonged illness on Tuesday.
According to the zoo administration, the Jumbo was born in 1998 and has crossed an average age of the lion. The administration said that due to illness Jumbo had left eating anything and was being fed artificially for last one week. The administration claimed that all possible measures had been adopted to save Jumbo's life but he succumbed to his illness. The administration further said that the body has been sent for autopsy and if doctors give permission to use Jumbo's hide, it will be saved in the Zoo's museum
