LAHORE - Wapda would leave no stone unturned to get complete new water dams and hydel power stations like Bhasha and Neelum Projects to meet the growing national needs of water and power.
These views were expressed by Zafar Mehmood Chairman Wapda while addressing a worker gathering here on Tuesday at Bakhtiar Labour Hall held under the aegis of All Pakistan Wapda Hydro Electric Workers Union.
Speaking at the occasion, Syed Raghib Abbas Shah former Chairman expressed satisfaction over the move of Government to accord high priority in building new dams and hydel power stations.
The veteran trade union leader Khurshid Ahmed and Abdul Latif Nizamani commended valuable services of Syed Raghib Abbas Shah outgoing Chairman and hoped that Zafar Mehmood new Chairman would continue to strengthen spirit to develop long standing traditions of good team work with the workers and management.
