ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF) will organise the 14th National Men Netball Championship 2015 in collaboration with Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) here at the Hamidi Hall, PSB Sports Complex from May 21.

PNF secretary Mudassar Arain told this scribe that all the PNF affiliated units including Army, PAF, Navy, Police, Wapda, Railways, HEC, Balochistan, Sindh, KP, Punjab, Islamabad, Fata, AJK, LUMS, LGS and TCS would take part in the mega event. Army is the defending champion.

The organising committee would provide the TA/DA to all participating teams excluded departments as per PNF rules and would also distribute trophies, shields, medals, certificates and other prizes among the position holder teams and players, he added.

Mudassar said: “PNF president Zafar Iqbal Awan has also approved the ‘rules and technical committee’ the chairman of which is Malik Sameen Khan while members are Mudassar Arain, M Rizwan, Nadia Chamkani, Major (R) M Saleem, Maqbool Ahmed and Syed Toqeer.”

“The mangers’ meeting will be held on May 20 at 5pm at Hamidi Hall. The PNF will also select players for the national team, who will take part in International Men Netball Championship 2015 in Malaysia,” Mudassar concluded.
