Rawalpindi - An anti-terrorism court on Wednesday recorded statements of two prosecution witnesses in former Premier Benazir Bhutto murder case.

The court adjourned the hearing till May 11 by summoning five more prosecution witnesses to record their statements in BB assassination case.

ATC Judge Rai Muhammad Ayub Marth held proceedings in BB murder case at Adiala Jail during which Federal Investigation Agency produced two prosecution witnesses Abdul Razzaq Mirani and DSP Niaz Muhammad whose statements were recorded by the court.

Defence lawyers Malik Jawad Khalid and Nasser Ahmed Tanwali cross-examined the prosecution witnesses. Abdul Razzaq Mirani was state officer at Bilawal House Karachi who presented Blackberry cell phones of BB to investigators whereas DSP Niaz Muhammad held two accused Aitzaz Shah and Sher Zaman from DI Khan when he was serving as SHO there.

After conclusion of cross-examination, the court postponed hearing till May 11.

Former CPO Syed Saud Aziz, former SP Rawal Division Khurram Shehzad and five accused arrested in BB murder case also attended the hearing.
