MULTAN:-The family of a woman, who had committed suicide, attacked policemen, came to investigate the incident, leaving five cops with injuries here on Friday. The police informed that the victim identified as Musarrat, had allegedly committed suicide by taking poisonous pills over a domestic issue. The police said that as the investigation team reached the house, the family members started pelting the policemen with bricks, leaving five policemen injured. They also broke windows and windscreen of the police vehicle.–Online

The police have registered a case against unknown persons and started investigation.

Multan CPO Azhar Akram said that no one would be allowed to take the law into their hand and the culprits involved in the incident will be put behind bars.
