KASUR-The government is taking steps to provided health and education facilities at the people’s doorsteps as its top priority, said Provincial Secretary Forests Jehanzeb Khan.

He visited Rural Health Centre Hospital and Govt High School for Boys Kanganpur accompanied by DFO Changa Manga Kasur Ch Hayat Hassan, SDO Imran Sattar, Kasur SDO M Khalil and officers of health and education departments.

They went through different departments of RHC Kanganpur and reviewed security arrangements and medical facilities. The secretary asked the patients about their problems and provision of medical services.

Similarly, during his visit to Govt High School for Boys, he inspected the cleanliness and security arrangements and expressed satisfaction over the situation. He said that government is serious to provide the best health facilities in all the public hospitals of Punjab. He added that steps are being taken to fulfill the shortage of doctors and paramedical staff at the hospitals. He said provision of quality education is government’s responsibility and all resources are being utilised to meet the challenges.

Steps are afoot to provide foolproof security not only at the public sector but also private sector educational institutions. He directed the officers concerned to ensure implementation of the government orders in this regard.

Later, the Provincial Secretary visited Changa Manga Forest Park and Wild Life Park and appreciated the officials concerned for their performance.
