TOBA TEK SINGH-The car of an MPA from Khushab, crushed a motorcyclist to death here on Toba-Jhang Road on Friday.

MPA Karam Elahi Bandial was travelling in the car when the incident occurred. The police, however, did not register a case against the MPA, saying the bereaved family has pardoned Mr Bandial.

Rescue sources informed that the deceased man identified as Muhammad Iqbal, resident of Chak 388/JB, was the on way to Toba from his village. Reaching Toba-Jhang Road, some 10-km away from here, a car in which MPA Karam Elahi Bandial was travelling, hit the bike. As a result he sustained critical injuries. He was being shifted to Toba DHQ Hospital but he succumbed to his wounds on the way.

DSP Azhar Yaqoob reached the spot and took the MPA to Toba in his vehicle. The DSP said that the heirs of the deceased have pardoned driver of MPA Badial.
