SARGODHA-Speakers said that loans are wheel of economic elevation so the lenders should ensure the provision of soft loans to the SMEs for economic progress in the country.
They expressed these views while addressing an SMEs fair held here under auspices National Bank of Pakistan. It was arranged by Sate Bank of Pakistan, BSC Faisalabad and other monetary and respective institutions. The speakers also highlighted the fact that the removal of obstacles like paucity of remittance in the development of small and medium business sector and opportunities of employments.
State Bank of Pakistan Additional Director Imran Ahmed, SBP Faisalabad Deputy Chief Manager Akmal Javed, Regional Head of National Bank of Pakistan Rana Imdad Hussain, SMEs coordinator Malik Iftikhar Ali Ganjaira, Sargodha Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Mukhtar Ahmed Mirza, Chamber of Small Business Faisalabad President Mian Zafar Iqbal, Provincial Chief SMEs Raja Hussain Javed, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan Deputy Director Dost Muhammad and senior executive of other banks were also present.
Scores of stalls and counters of products by various companies had been placed where information and importance about the products was being presented by the organisers. Besides, the wayout of difference among factual and counterfeit currency had also been stated to the participants by the State Bank.
National Bank obtained first position, MCB second and Mezan Bank achieved third position in stall competition in SMEs festival.
