DIG Operations  Islamabad suspends 3 SHOs for failure in controlling crime

ISLAMABAD   -  The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Islamabad Afzaal Ahmed Kausar has suspended the station house officers of three police stations for their failure in curbing street crime, informed a police spokesman on Thursday.

A notification in this regard has also been issued by the top boss of Islamabad police, he said. According to him, DIG Operations Afzaal Ahmed Kausar has placed SHO PS Tarnol Inspector Rasheed Ahmed Gujar, SHO PS Ramna SI Noor Ullah and SHO PS Industrial Area SI Muhammad Iqbal Gujar for their failure in control crime in their areas and netting robbers involved in looting citizens round the clock.

Meanwhile, SSP Operations Islamabad Dr Syed Mustafa Tanweer has also issued transfer and posting orders of five police officers. According to police spokesman, SSP Operations Dr Syed Mustafa Tanweer has transferred Inspector Asjad Mehmood from Rescue 15 and posted him as SHO PS Tarnol. Similarly, SI Adeel Shaukat Ali was posted as SHO PS Industrial Area and SI Muhammad Asif Ali has been appointed as SHO PS Karachi Company by the SSP, the spokesman said. Earlier, SSP removed Bilal Ahmed from office of SHO PS Karachi Company. The SSP also gave SI Akhtar Zaman the acting charge of SHO PS Ramna. Likewise, IG Islamabad Qazi Jamil Ur Rehman has also issued transfer and posting orders of two DSPs. The capital police chief transferred SDPO Margalla Malik Abid Imran and posted him as SDPO Koral while DSP Muhammad Bashir, who was serving as DSP Investigation Rural, was appointed as SDPO Margalla. A notification has also been issued in this regard.
