WASHINGTON - An Indian journalist who routinely asks anti-Pakistan questions at the main briefings/press conferences in Washington was on Wednesday snubbed at Pentagon over his remarks about the US anti-terror operations. The Indian asked why the United States was involved in the war in Afghanistan when Pakistan was the centre of terrorism. Are you serious? retorted Pentagon Press Secretary Geoff Morrell, looking a bit upset. Is this a serious question? Thrown on the defensive, the Indian journalist tried to say he was only repeating the views of some experts, Morrell firmly said, Were fighting in Afghanistan because we were attacked from Afghanistan on 9/11. Im not going to go re-litigate the history of why were in Afghanistan at this hour.
