LAHORE - City District Government Health Department has constituted 2,478 teams for administering polio drops during three-day polio eradication campaign from November 8-10. Mobile teams will go from door to door to administer polio drops to children up to five years of age while 90 teams will perform duties at major entry and exit points, Lahore Railways Station, Lorry Adda and major bus terminals in the City. According to an estimate, the special teams will administer polio drops to over 1.5 million children during three days. Meanwhile, DCO Ahad Khan Cheema inaugurated campaign by administering polio drop to a five year old child at Kot Khawaja Saeed Hospitals. He also inquired after the health of dengue patients getting treatment at the hospital.
