ISLAMABAD – The Oil & Gas Regulation Authority (Ogra) has issued show-cause notices to owners of another 18 CNG station on Tuesday.The notices had been issued to the owners of CNG stations against violating regulatory authority’s instructions of not selling CNG to consumers, said spokesman of Ogra. The sources said that special Ogra teams visited various CNG stations in different cities across the country.Earlier, Oil & Gas Regulation Authority had issued a warning to CNG station owners who had halted sale of CNG, that their gas connections would be suspended if they failed to resume the sale.According to the notification issued by Ogra, supply of CNG to consumers must be ensured and violation of instructions would result in the suspension of respective station’s gas connection or heavy fine or both. Ogra had issued show-cause notices to 26 CNG station owners yesterday, the spokesman said, adding that total number of show-cause notices issued have now reached to 44.
