MULTAN- Veteran politician and former president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Javed Hashmi today claimed that some 21 to 25 PTI MNAs would not confirm their resignation if they appeared before the Speaker for verification of their resignation, as many MNA have resigned under pressure from the party leadership.

Talking to journalists, Hashmi said that he had given his opinion honestly and without any fear and favor in PTI’s meetings. To a question he said that he tendered his resignation without any pressure as per his previous party’s decisions.

The veteran politician said that many developments had taken place in political horizon of the country during the last few months. It is to be mentioned here that Makhdoom Javed Hashmi resigned from PTI and National Assembly after developing differences with party leadership especially over party’s move to march on Islamabad to topple the democratically-elected government.
