Adele set to tie knot with Simon Konecki

DM LOS ANGELES - She’s rumoured to have become secretly engaged to Simon Konecki last month.

And it has been reported that Adele will marry her partner of five years in a Christmas wedding in Los Angeles.

The Hello hitmaker, 28, is said to be planning a private ceremony with the charity boss, 42, during the school holidays so his nine-year-old daughter can attend.

The couple, who have a four-year-old son Angelo, are said to be working to get Simon’s daughter from a previous marriage included in the wedding.

A friend told The Mirror: ‘The plan is to marry in LA. The wedding will be in one of the school holidays so Simon’s daughter can attend.

‘It’s looking like it will be Christmas, but they want to keep details under wraps.’

The insider added: ‘Adele is not even wearing her engagement ring. They’re a private couple and only want their nearest and dearest there.’

Adele and Simon, the chief of charity Drop4Drop, were first introduced by Ed Sheeran and have recently moved into a £6million mansion in Beverly Hills.

The Someone Like You singer was recently surprised by Simon with an incredibly   romantic gesture to celebrate their fifth anniversary at her concert in Nashville, Tennessee.

In October, Simon penned heartfelt messages on thousands of pieces of confetti that fell from the ceiling at the end of her show. The confetti that showers the audience at the end of each show is normally white and boast a song lyric on each piece of paper.

Simon switched things up by including special pink notes with messages including, ‘I love you’, ‘You are an angel’ and ‘Happy anniversary’.

During her rendition of Rolling in the Deep, Adele interrupted her set to exclaim, ‘We’ve got pink confetti tonight!’.

The superstar’s fans took to Twitter to share their delight at the heartwarming stunt.
