islamabad - A broken water pipeline is causing delay in construction work of a bridge near Bari Imam.

The directorate of road maintenance and marketing has completed major repair work of the bridge near Bari Imam fulfilling the longstanding demand of residents.

Talking to APP, Deputy Director Johar Ali said that concerned authorities of the civic body would repair broken pipeline near the bridge as the accumulated water in the ditches could not allow putting concrete on the road.

A resident of Bari Imam Dr Hameed told APP that the bridge was the only link between the Bari Imam Colony and the Quaid-e-Azam University which should be duly taken care of by the authorities concerned.
